摘要: In this talk, I will discuss the higher order correlations of sequences modulo one, which describe the “fine-scale” behaviors of sequences in [0, 1] and can be regarded as a refinement of the well-known equidistribution property. Some important results since the seminal work of Rudnick-Sarnak will be presented. Finally, I will briefly introduce a result concerning the higher order correlations of geometric progression modulo 1, based on a joint work with Amir Algom, Meng Wu and Yu-Liang Wu. This talk complements that of Prof. Meng Wu.
报告人简介：
常远洋，博士毕业于武汉大学，曾在华南理工大学、芬兰奥卢大学从事博士后研究，现任职于武汉理工大学。主要研究兴趣为序列的分布及其与分形几何、动力系统、调和分析等领域的交叉。
