摘要:We study a family of self-affine tiles in R3 with noncollinear digit sets, which naturally generalizes a two-dimensional class studied originally by Deng and Lau (2011, JMAA). We mainly present a simpler proof of the result in [1](2022, Adv.). Replacing quadric surfaces by some fold planes, we redefine the quasi-invariant plane which plays a key role in the constructing the desired homeomorphism. This adjustment simplifies the proof of the result: That the interior of a certain self-affine tile is connected implies that the self-affine tile is a tame ball.
