摘要：The Bruhat order on the symmetric group is a partial order which bridges combinatorics, representation theory and geometry. In this talk, we shall give an overview of the history of Bruhat orders. Then we investigate a specific family of Bruhat order intervals on the symmetric group, and prove that their Poincaré polynomials are palindromic. As an application, this settles a recent conjecture of Francesco Brenti, Angela Carnevale and Bridget Tenner.
报告人简介：
郭龙，南开大学组合数学中心教授，博士生导师。研究方向是代数组合学，工作集中在Schubert计数演算、对称函数、多面体、Kazhdan-Lusztig理论等课题。相关结果发表在Math. Z., Science China Math., J. Combin. Theory Ser. A, Discrete & Comput. Geom., SIAM J. Discrete Math.等期刊，受到包括William Fulton, June Huh, Igor Pak在内多位ICM邀请报告人的关注和引用。
